Almadaen was formed in 1991 headed by Omani professional engineer, Mr. Fuad Al Kindi; B.Sc. Arch. Engineering; University of Miami; USA; M.Sc. Mech. Engineering; University of London; UK. Fuad Al Kindi has also held in the past various engineering positions in the government sector, undertaking prestigious palace projects and the management of large infrastructure projects.
Inline with Ibn Khaldun . Almadaen Directors’ directive, the company have expanded its civil engineering activities to include major development projects in Oman and is associating with reputed international consultants in specialist fields to ensure high level of services provided and to facilitate the transfer of know-how to Omani Engineering firms and accordingly Omani nationals.
Association and working jointly with reputed international firms have resulted in proven successful completed & on-going projects of various infrastructure disciplines like industrial estates urban planning, ports & harbors, airports, roads, waste management and water projects.
Building up expertise of Omani nationals is continuing to be a principle goal and projects have been the primary tool for this aim.
Ibn Khaldun . Almadaen also has a vast record of engineering services for industrial, commercial and residential building projects in both Government and private sectors. Appointments included multi-million construction costs of factories schools and 12-storey buildings etc costing multi-million Omani Rials.

Almadaen staff includes Harbors and Coastal Engineering, Architectural, Roads, Civil, Structural, Air-Conditioning engineers and a team of designers supported by fully automated design offices in Muscat & Salalah using latest CAD facilities, in addition to administration & Accounts’ staff.
